Minimum Qualifications

The Purpose

This position supports the Division of Instruction and adjunct faculty by providing support for all curriculum faculty. This position will require flexibility in working hours with some evening and occasional weekend duties.

What You'll be Doing

  • Works with Deans and Chairs to help onboard all curriculum adjunct faculty, including creating TSR, key/badge requests, etc.
  • Creates and distributes contracts for all curriculum adjunct faculty.
  • Ensures accurate reporting of course attendance and submits appropriate reports to state to ensure a clean audit.
  • Provides support on demand in a friendly and professional manner for all curriculum adjunct faculty to help with attendance, grade reporting, textbook and course materials, syllabus management, LMS, etc.
  • Works with Deans and Chairs to coordinate and administer adjunct faculty observations.
  • Maintains Faculty Credentialing system for SACSCOC for all curriculum faculty.
  • Maintains accurate part-time and full-time faculty roster.
  • Maintains and updates Faculty Handbook as needed.
  • Creates/ organizes and updates manual/ electronic file system with a high degree of accuracy utilizing Microsoft Office and other systems by manually filing documentation.
  • Provides clerical support for the Division of Instruction and Teaching and Learning Department for projects such as student course evaluations, departmental advisory committee meetings, etc.
  • Works with other office personnel to ensure that the Office for Instruction has continuous personnel coverage during working day hours.
  • Collects and maintains college records for textbook orders, course syllabi, and faculty workloads.
  • Ensure compliance and confidentiality with all policies and procedures of the College, NC Community College System, and applicable State and Federal agencies.

Qualifications

Education

Required: Associate Degree.

Highly Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.

Experience

Required: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred: Previous office experience.
