Minimum Qualifications
Master’s in Computer Science or related field preferred; Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field required; Experience using 3D animation, 3D applications, 3D modeling, and animation skills, motion graphics design/2D graphics; Must have industry knowledge of animation, production standards, game design, game history, testing, and career development;
Preferred Qualifications
Experience to include game design in programming, software such as Python, Java, C++, or C#; Must assist IT in maintaining the classroom/lab with recommendations on software, hardware, and upkeep; Optimal candidate will demonstrate outstanding student service and interpersonal communication skills; Previous teaching preferred.
Position Description
The purpose of this position is to instruct curriculum Gaming and 3D Animation courses. This position instructs Gaming and 3D Animation courses to college and high school students, facilitates learning with lectures, hands-on tutorials, and project assignments, maintains grade and attendance records, recognizes, and responds appropriately to student diversity, utilizes clear learning goals with well-planned activities, keeps weekly office hours on campus – Some remote teaching may be required.
