Minimum Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a MLS degree, or equivalent, from an ALA graduate program. A strong commitment to high quality customer service and teamwork in the community college setting, desired. Proficient knowledge of computer applications, library resources, and a working knowledge of an automated library system, preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to bend, stoop, and lift a minimum of twenty (20) pounds, required. Hours may vary slightly, but will not exceed twenty-seven (27) per week.

Position Description
Supervise the library from 3:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m., Monday-Thursday and an occasional Saturday from 9:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. Provide general research and information services to students, faculty, staff, and community users of Onslow County. Oversee circulation services; assist patrons with basic technology needs; conduct research; coach appointments and basic information literacy sessions as needed. Attend monthly meetings; participate in professional development opportunities, and perform other duties as assigned.
