Description

Responsible for general housekeeping, and minor maintenance of buildings, grounds, and landscaping.  Clean buildings including offices, hallways, meeting rooms, and classrooms. Clean, sanitize, and re-stock restrooms.  Wash windows, and remove trash from buildings and deposit into a container for removal from campus.  Maintain safe and clean facilities and grounds for patrons and visitors.  Provide floor care including stripping and waxing, buffing, and dust mopping, damp mopping, and carpet care as scheduled.  Assist in set up and removal of materials and equipment for special events, and maintain the appearance of grounds, sidewalks, and common areas.  Hours:  6:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. with occasional weekends as needed.

Salary:  $2,600.00 per month.

Start Date:  January 3, 2023.

Closing Date:  December 11, 2022, or open until filled.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, required.  Must have a valid NC drivers' license within 60 days of employment and be insurable at standard rates.  Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, grasp, reach, and stand.  Must be able to use various cleaning agents to include floor wax, cleaner, and disinfectant.
