Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Birth-Kindergarten, Pre-K/Primary, Child Development, Child and Family Studies, Early Intervention, OR other degree in education/related area with 18 graduate semester hours in Early Childhood/Child Development.
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of experience teaching children from birth to age five is preferred.
Position Description
This is a two-year, grant funded, 9-month faculty position with additional paid part-time hours during the summer semester. The position specializes in recruitment, retention, and support for enrolled and prospective Early Childhood Education students. The position responsibilities will include community outreach, involvement with early education/childcare centers, recruitment and marketing, building rapport with students and childcare center directors, and supporting students in childcare classroom experience. The position will be responsible for instruction in Early Childhood Education courses (in Early Childhood Preschool Certificate), and retention of current students with an emphasis on students in the CCP Early Childhood Pathway.
