Minimum Qualifications
Requires Associate Degree in Electrical Power Plant Technology, Industrial Systems, Mechatronics Engineering, Technology or related field from a regionally accredited institution with three years of industry-related experience or Bachelor’s Degree with two years of industry-related experience; two years of teaching experience in a traditional setting preferred; proficiency in technology and commitment to student learning in a student-centered learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in Programmable Logic Controller and OSHA 10 are preferred.
Position Description
The purpose of this position is to instruct courses in the Advanced Manufacturing Curriculum – Electrical Power Plant Technology; Industrial Systems Technology; and Mechatronics Engineering Technology to college and high school students on the Person and Caswell campuses. Will also serve as Curriculum Coordinator.
