Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree, required. Must hold ASCP-BOC or ASCP-BOC generalist certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technology. Must have three (3) years of teaching experience and have knowledge of education methods and administration as well as current NAACLS accreditation procedures and certification procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
Community college teaching experience, preferred.
Position Description
Responsible for preparing and delivering instruction to a diverse student population, maintaining educational standards of the program, assisting in the recruitment of both students and adjunct faculty, proposing not only course but also faculty teaching schedules within the department, maintaining oversight of laboratory equipment, participating in the budgetary preparation process, ensuring students comply with clinical site requirements (e.g., immunizations, background checks, drug screenings, etc.), fostering positive relationships with business and industry as well as community partners, and verifying the program and College are in compliance with accreditation standards. Fulfill responsibilities of a faculty member and full-time employee. This is a 10.5 month position with possible summer employment.

Salary: $5,045.00 per month.
