Position Description

Summary:

Performs college registration activities and assists with student management

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Process all ACR student registrations and records requests. 
  • Develops part-time instructional contracts and maintain payroll records, including adjustments, in cooperation with the Business Office.
  • Coordinates incoming requests for course offerings and assists in transitioning ACR students to Continuing Education and Curriculum programs.
  • Performs all duties within the ACR student records process, including registering students for classes, printing and distributing rosters, and printing schedules on demand.
  • Performs scanning and archiving of documents with Data Base Management System.
  • Responsible for collecting instructor evaluation forms and preparation for scanning.
  • Fulfills all requests for ACR transcripts using an electronic platform.
  • Process all class set-ups, section closeouts, drops, and change forms during the semester.
  • Assist with preparing and reviewing the continuing education ICR.
  • Plans and coordinates ACR graduation.
  • Prints diplomas for AHS/HSE students upon completion.
  • Assist with training instructors on the department's new paperwork processes and systems. (ie. Webadvisor, Colleague, ADVANSYS, etc.)                                     
  • Assists with new hires for the department.
  • Performs monthly & semi-annual time and effort reporting to the system office.
  • Facilitates the distribution of ACR laptops for student use if needed.
  • Assists with TABE testing in the absence of the Testing Administrator if needed.
  • Provide clerical assistance if needed.

 Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Colleague.
