Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, manufacturing, or management field, OR
- Associate’s Degree in a technical, manufacturing, or management field with 5 years of progressive experience in project management, AND
- Five or more years’ experience managing projects, including monitoring project scope and budget, creating project schedules, managing project resources, resolving issues, and reporting status.
- Experience working with manufacturing management or manufacturing training and development.
- Current NC Driver’s License.
- Current US Passport or ability to obtain US Passport.

The Customized Training VinFast Project Manager will be the point person for the Industry Services Department and Central Carolina Community College on the VinFast project. This individual will oversee project planning and implementation with VinFast, CCCC, and partner agencies to support the overall related workforce development goals.
This is a time limited Customized Training position based on project funds.
This position is open until filled.

Essential Duties
- Supports the VinFast project for strategic workforce planning across multiple partners and entities.
- Works with a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team focused on strategy, planning, program alignment, and evaluation with a special focus on VinFast workforce development.
- Partners with Client/Stakeholders/Subject Matter Experts to develop project outcomes and lead project implementation.
- Develops program communications and manage timelines ensuring the integrity of overall project.
- Coordinates participant and leader communications including a regular cadence of touch-points providing ongoing project strategies to key stakeholders and Department Leaders.
- Monitors progress, and evaluate trends ensure the needs of the business leaders and/or participants are addressed throughout the program.
- Develops and execute project plans, timelines, milestones and key metrics for talent development ensuring deliverables meet project objectives.
- Schedules and leads project workgroups with interagency and private sector partners.
- Supervises coordinator implementation of talent recruitment, assessment, and training strategies.
- Develops strategies to grow awareness and inspire participation in key VinFast workforce programs.
- Serve on College committees as assigned.
- Complete the annual five-hour staff development.
- Encourage and support College activities, policies, procedures, and philosophies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
