Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
Three years of work experience in Construction Management experience.
Three years of instructional experience at a community college, university, or educational institution.
Computer skills using basic functions of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
Five years of work experience in Construction Management experience.
Five years of instructional experience at a community college, university, or educational institution.
Position Description
This position is responsible for providing effective instruction for assigned courses and assisting the division Dean and Department Head as the first-line manager.
Responsibilities and Duties (*Essential Functions)

*Manages personnel, supplies, equipment, and facilities of department
*Responsible for keeping the Department Head informed of the operation of the department
*Coordinates, plans, develops, implements, supervises, and evaluates department curriculum and courses
* Assigns all instructors classes, evaluates faculty credentials, and approves courses for full-time and adjunct faculty
* Evaluates instructors/employees in the department
*Meets all the responsibilities and duties within the description of instructor for this program
*Acts as advisor to curriculum students assigned
*Participates in the resolution of faculty and student issues
Constructs classroom materials that support the goals of the course
Designs curriculum and a schedule of instruction
Maintains regular office hours
Stays abreast of most current teaching methods and technology in the classroom
Uses assessment techniques to improve student learning outcomes and teaching methods
Serves on college, divisional, or department committees as needed
Attends professional development opportunities
Assists with establishing goals and objectives for the course, selecting text and constructing a syllabus
Maintains communication with instructors from other divisions in order to keep courses up-to-date and appropriate
Participates in graduation exercises
Plans and conducts regular department meetings
Selects Advisory Committee members, plan and conduct Advisory Committee meetings and distribute meeting minutes
