Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in nursing and a current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in North Carolina with two years of experience or the equivalent of full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Willing to work day and evening hours as the division schedule demands. Possesses general computer skills. Bilingual candidates fluent in both English and Spanish are preferred.
Position Description
Primary responsibilities include class, lab, and clinical instruction of nurse aide students. Using state nurse aide curriculum, teach students theory and skills technique in compliance with appropriate state and national agencies, mandated curriculums, program guidelines, and regulations. Evaluate the competency of each student through laboratory/skill practice and clinical evaluations. Maintain academic, attendance, and student records. Travel to off-campus clinical sites is required.
