Minimum Qualifications
Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in NC; Diploma in Nursing, Associate Degree Nursing or Bachelor Degree Nursing required; Minimum of two years prior employment in long-term patient care as a registered nurse.
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching experience preferred.
Position Description
Instructs in the Nurse Aide Program in accordance with established policies and guidelines; teaches a maximum of 33 contact hours per week in the field of Nursing Assistant Education including Nurse Aide l, Nurse Aide ll, Medication Technician, and Medication Aide; maintains record of student attendance and performance, prepare class records; assist in the recruitment of students within Nursing Assistant Education.
