Minimum Qualifications

Requires High School Diploma or Equivalent; excellent computer and communication skills, and valid driver’s license; experience working with economically disadvantaged adults and/or other governmental programs serving adults with barriers to employment.

Preferred Qualifications

Associates Degree in Human Services or related field preferred

Position Description

Provides first point of contact for students visiting the Business Development and Entrepreneurship Center (BDEC); provides orientation of services and training opportunities available to those visiting BDEC; refers students to HRD Employability Lab in order to assess existing skill levels and preparing students through job search instruction and further training for local jobs; provides outreach and recruitment services in order to facilitate enrollment in Triple E Grant as well as outside funding agencies; stationed at collaborative partner agency sites on a regular monthly basis.
