Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university in EMS or related area with current North Carolina and / or possess National Registry Paramedic Certification Licensure. Six years field experience as a paramedic North Carolina Level I.
Effective communication, both oral and written, skills necessary. Must have expert efficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

EMS Instructor, ACLS, BLS, PALS (American Heart Association Instructor), and ITLS Instructor. Level II NCOEMS Instructor. Two years experience teaching EMS for a community college or four-year college. Online teaching experience. Military experience teaching EMS courses or military medics.

Fayetteville Technical Community College is seeking qualified applicants to fill this full-time position within the Corporate and Continuing Education division. Duties
Provide general classroom and clinical lab instruction both online and in a traditional setting.
Teach face-to-face classes to include days, evenings, and weekends both on and off campus.
Incorporate latest instructional technologies and interactive learning technologies in course delivery.
Assist in program recruitment.
Advise students who are in the program or aspire to be in the program.
Monitor and improve student retention.
Maintain class records, input grades and attendance into Webadvisor.
Provide recommendations for other classes to Department Chair and Dean of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Health Programs.
Assist in the design and update of course syllabi, outlines, and lesson plans.
Evaluate classroom and online instruction and make necessary improvements.
Provide quality customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
Continually develop and improve skills through professional development.
Participate in faculty committees and other activities, as assigned.
