Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma and 1-2 years of experience.

  • Working knowledge of various digital sound boards and microphone set up.
  • Experience running sound in various capacities.
  • Working knowledge of lighting consoles (Expression) and Spotlight operation.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule which often requires late nights and early mornings.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends.
  • Work well in a team atmosphere, display great customer service, willingness to take direction and also be very dependable.

Position Description

We are seeking individuals to work in our technical department in the capacities of sound and lighting assistance. 

Examples of Duties:

Persons in this position may be asked to perform various technical duties depending on the needs of the event.  Persons in these positions may be asked to set up, test, run and strike microphones, monitors and other sound/lighting equipment.  They may sometimes assist with back-line as needed.  This position sometimes requires lighting maintenance such as bulb and gel changing, focusing and color mixing during certain performances.  Persons in this position will sometimes be asked to handle spotlight operation.  Persons serving in the capacity of Sound Technician may also be asked to set up and run equipment needed for audio/video presentations.
