Required:
Associate’s degree in Sterile Processing, Surgical Technology or related field from a regionally accredited institution
Work experience in career field
Skill in the use of computers, MS Office and commitment to use of technology
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively and collegially with others

The Part-time Central Sterile Processing faculty position is responsible for facilitating class, lab, and/or clinical components of courses within the program. Classes and labs are located at the Davie Campus in Mocksville, NC. Clinical facilities are at locations throughout the piedmont triad area. Courses are offered during the day.
The Part-time Central Sterile Processing faculty member reports directly to the Director of the program while working collaboratively with other college faculty and staff to:
Promote the College mission, values, and vision
Assist full time faculty in creating meaningful and relevant learning experiences
Assist full time faculty in evaluation of student progress and maintenance and submission of instructional records, reports, and grades established by institutional policy
Explore, assess, and implement appropriate instructional technology to enhance student learning outcomes
Maintain a laboratory environment which is clean, safe and in compliance with laboratory safety standards
Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and equipment
Prepare, break down, and clean laboratory spaces for courses
Maintain appropriate accessibility for students, faculty and staff
Participate in professional development to enhance instructional effectiveness
Perform other tasks as assigned which support the mission and initiatives of the College
