Minimum Qualifications
Associates Degree from a regionally accredited institution. Knowledge of online instructional platforms and hands-on experience with a variety of computer software, components and resources. Intermediate skills in navigating technology. Evening/weekend availability. Bilingual English/Spanish speaker preferred.

Position Description
Responsible for providing technology support to students to better prepare them for college, the workforce, and using technology in their everyday lives. Coordinate the Digital Navigator Project.
Grant funded, time limited position. 20 hours per week.
Essential Responsibilities
- Complete the Digital Navigator North Star Training and Assessment.
- Develop a Digital Navigator handbook of resources that connect students to digital skills training, devices and low-cost/free internet options.
- Assist students with foundational digital skills by assessing their current digital literacy skill level and technology needs.
- Recruit and refer students to Digital Navigator North Star classes.
- Visit classes and provide digital navigation services, workshops and one-one-one assistance to students based on digital interests and needs.
- Advise individuals about free or affordable digital devices and home internet service options.
- Participate in meetings with the NCCCS College, co-lead college, and the NCDIT as required.
- Compile and submit monthly, quarterly, yearly, and final report summarizing the outcomes of the Digital Navigator Project and other required documents as requested.
- Compile and submit all required financial reports with supporting documentation.
- Create a Digital Navigators Best Practices report.
- Participate in and support ongoing assessment, planning and evaluation to improve student learning.
