The Part Time, Health Science Lab Technician is responsible for setting up and breaking down Medical Assisting or Medical Lab Technology laboratories as well as maintaining supply and equipment inventory.  The Technician reports to the Program Director, Medical Laboratory Technology.

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintains high level of sensitivity, understanding, and respect for a diverse academic environment, inclusive of students, faculty, and staff of varying social, economic, cultural, ideological, and ethnic backgrounds
• Prepares, breaks down, and cleans laboratories for all lab courses
• Maintains a laboratory environment which is clean, safe, and in compliance with laboratory safety standards
• Performs other duties as assigned that achieve the mission and initiatives of the college
• Supports the mission, vision, and values of the College and attends College events and meetings
