(Education and Experience) BA/BS degree plus experience working with adult students in an educational or social work environment.
NC Basic Skills Credentials or adult education experience in a community college.
Instructor will teach NC Adult Content Standards in ABE, ABLE, AHS, ESL, or HSE/GED, or transitional programs program areas. Coach students who are disadvantaged and may have multiple barriers or learning differences.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
Manage classroom, submit required paperwork, teach in content areas: math, reading, writing, social studies, science, basic computer literacy, and job readiness skills on various levels.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: (Optional) Typical classes are: 8:30-11:30 AM, 12:00-2:00 PM or 3:00 PM, 5:30-8:30 PM
