Provide for the safety of all individuals frequenting Coastal Carolina Community College, maintain security and fire protection for facilities and capital equipment assets on campus, and prepare security related reports.  Provide protection for faculty, staff, students, and property. Must be able to patrol campus on foot and in vehicles; and complete written accident reports on campus and at off-campus extension sites.  Additional duties include ticket writing, directing traffic during peak periods and special events.  

Salary:  $15.00 per hour.  Working hours are Saturday-Monday, 12:00 Midnight - 8:00 a.m., and as needed.

Start Date:  October 22, 2022.

Closing Date:  October 12, 2022, or open until filled.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, and valid NC drivers' license, required.  Excellent oral and written communication skills, and good customer service skills, essential.  Six months experience in security or law enforcement preferred, but not required.  Must possess a CPR/First Responder Certification or be willing to obtain within three (3) months.
