Minimum Qualifications

Associates degree, required.  Must be a graduate of an education program in surgical technology accredited by a nationally recognized programmatic accreditation agency.  Must possess a credential in the field of surgical technology through a national certification program that is accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCCA).  Minimum of two (2) years of experience, either in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both, within the past five (5) years, required.

Position Description

Description

Responsible for directing, evaluating, and reporting progress toward course objectives in the clinical setting for students enrolled in the Surgical Technology Program.
 
Monitors student progress in the didactic/ clinical setting.  Provides systematic observations and objective judgements regarding student performance and gives timely feedback about their performance, providing suggestions for improvement.  Participates in continuing education seminars and in professional development opportunities in order to maintain current state of the art knowledge, skills and certification.
 
Salary:  Based on education and experience.
Start Date:  January 4, 2024.
Closing Date:  Open until filled.
