Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Deliver Theatre Program instruction to include courses in Play Production, Stage Makeup, Acting for the Camera, Stagecraft, Children’s Theater, Theatre Appreciation, and Theatre History 
• Actively develop and maintain positive relationships with area schools, and actively recruit students.
• Collaborate with faculty and community members in developing contemporary productions and presentations.
• Participate in faculty development goals to improve professional effectiveness.
• Follow understood best teaching practices to include- meeting with all scheduled classes regularly and promptly, monitoring student placement and progress, maintaining accurate records, and promoting learning assistance services.
• Cooperate and collaborate with other areas of the College to provide an effective educational program.
• Assume responsibility for all equipment assigned to the faculty member or to those under his or her supervision.
• Attend and participate in departmental, division, and faculty meetings when necessary.
