The Peer Tutoring Coordinator, Career Technical Education, Center for Academic Engagement provides leadership and management for tutoring centers at all campus locations of Guilford Technical Community College, and specifically coordinates tutoring services for students in GTCC’s Career and Technical Education programs, including welding, entertainment technology, paralegal studies, Emergency Medical Science, criminal justice, drafting, and others. The coordinator provides tutor training and supervision, develops and delivers tutor training, coordinates center operations, and designs supports for students in CTE courses. The Peer Tutoring Coordinator, Career Technical Education, Center for Academic Engagement motivates and guides tutors, staff, and students in an inclusive, professional, and learner-centered environment. A creative and dynamic leader, the Peer Tutoring Coordinator, Career Technical Education, Center for Academic Engagement collaborates and engages with internal and external stakeholders to initiate partnerships and enhance student success.
