Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree or two or more years of direct experience or Certification as Pharmacy Tech or Pharmacist. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work well in a variety of people.
  • Microsoft Office skills, including use of PowerPoint essential.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and judgment in handling confidential materials.
  • Ability to teach day and/or night classes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field.
  • Adult Teaching Experience

Position Description

PART TIME INSTRUCTOR

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide students with basic knowledge and skills required as a technician in a pharmacy environment.
  • Ensure that all necessary student and course documentation is kept current and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accurate and current material or content is being used in the classroom.
  • Willingness to update or change material/outline as needed based on student needs.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate degree or two or more years of direct experience or Certification as Pharmacy Tech or Pharmacist.
