POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Instructor will be responsible for teaching Physics courses online.  Instructs and guides the class in an efficient and effective manner.  Maintains accurate records of student work and attendance.  Prepares thoroughly for each instructional hour.  Maintains a safe and orderly learning environment.  Grades and returns students work in a timely manner.  Counsels students regarding their grades and progress in the course.  Constructs classroom materials that support the goals of the course.  Designs curriculum and a schedule of instruction.  Uses assessment techniques to improve learning and teaching.

Excellent teaching and communication skills.  Outcomes oriented.  A strong work ethic.  Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.  Attention to detail and accuracy.  Customer service oriented and have interpersonal skills.  Excellent time management skills.
