Position Description
This is a full-time, twelve (12) month position which may involve day and some evening and weekend work providing classroom and field instruction for various subjects in the power delivery industry, including how to install and repair electrical power systems. In conjunction with the Powerline Technician Training Supervisor, evaluate and improve program quality; stay abreast of regulations applicable to electrical line work such as OSHA and NESC; and advise students. Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner. High school diploma or GED, required. Must have completed a Journeyman Level Powerline Technician program with three (3) years of field experience. Associates or advanced degree, preferred. Must have a current Class A CDL, or the ability to obtain one. Teaching experience preferred. Substation and/or transmission experience preferred, but not required.
Salary: Based on education and experience.
Start Date: January 4, 2021.
