Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Business Administration, Office Administration or related field from a nationally accredited institution; 
  • minimum two years administrative work experience in higher education

    Position Description

    The Program Management and Accountability Specialist for workforce development (non-credit) maintains all aspects of workforce development program management, to include records and compliance procedures. The individual works to facilitate all workforce development accountability and compliance responsibilities for data provided to North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS) per State Board of Community College Code (SBCCC).

     

    EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:

    • Establish and maintain an accurate system of compiling non-credit course and program documentation for Institutional Class Reporting (ICR) and compliance review procedures and reports
    • Coordinate, prepare and submit the non-credit term ICR
    • Prepare non-credit and credit documentation for compliance review
    • Process and maintain compliance review reports and make adjustments to ICR when necessary based on SBCCC and disseminate adjustments accordingly
    • Maintain and revise off-campus locations for non-credit courses and programs
    • Provide record management training to directors, coordinators, deans and Vice President per SBCCC guidelines
    • Oversee registration and grading of non-credit sections
    • Monitor numbered memos and colleague patches that impact workforce development 
    • Perform non-credit course maintenance; import the courses from NCCCS; set up the courses by assigning the next available course code and maintaining the courses as they are obsoleted, modified, etc.
    • Monitor class visitation accountability plan by assigning class visits to the appropriate individuals
    • Compile and report findings of class visitation semester report to coordinators, Vice President of Workforce Development, President and Board of Trustees
    • Visit non-credit classes
    • Verify instructional hours on class rosters and adjust where applicable
    • Assist with preparation of non-credit schedule 
    • Process course and program change forms
    • Facilitate all processes to submit NCCCS reports
    • Provide internal reports and data analysis to coordinators and Vice Presidents
    • Assist institutional research with workforce development student success reports
    • Assist institutional research with cost analysis of workforce development programs
    • Assist with maintaining required documentation for the NCCCS curriculum standards
    • Serve on institutional committees
    • Perform other related duties as assigned
