Responsible for the planning, programming, instruction and evaluation of the Massage Therapy program offerings within the Division of Continuing Education (CE) and for ensuring that all components of curriculum and ethical standards are within the guidelines of the NC Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy as well as those outlined by the college. Participate in overall program evaluation to maintain compliance with the NC Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy and assist with hiring, evaluating, performance management and professional development of full-time and/or part-time faculty/staff. Maintain current knowledge of program policies, procedures and student progress. Actively participate in Division meetings and budget planning, preparation and execution. Licensed Massage Therapist, Bachelor’s degree or at least five (5) years of professional experience in the field of massage and bodywork therapy, and at least two (2) years as lead instructor in the Massage Therapy Curriculum, required. Community college teaching or training, and supervisory experience, preferred.
Salary: Based on education and experience.
Start Date: August 1, 2019.
