Position Description
This is a 12-month full-time position in the Office of Instruction reporting to the Vice President of Instruction.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting academic divisions with curriculum changes, submitting Programs of Study to the NCCCS through the Colleague system, and updates to the WCC catalog.
- Assist Vice President (VP) of Instruction as Perkins liaison to the NCCCS; attending meetings and trainings, submitting paperwork, monitoring budgets, etc.
- General administrative duties including but not limited to ordering supplies, preparing travel forms, p-card statements, monitoring budgets, and distributing mail.
- Coordinate administration of student course evaluations and nursing clinical evaluations each semester; assist with college-wide surveys as needed.
- Working with academic divisions to coordinate and document Advisory Committee meetings.
- Assist with record-keeping for articulation agreements with partnering universities and public schools.
- Submit paperwork to the NCCCS for state-level awards such as Excellence in Teaching, Academic Excellence, Dallas Herring, and Robert Scott student awards.
- Update college program information in the NCWorks.gov system as needed.
- Assist with updating membership, coordinating meetings, distributing resources, and creating agendas/minutes for committees led by the Vice President of Instruction (Curriculum Committee, Instructional Core Team, Calendar Committee, etc.).
- Assist with coordination of the HS Skills USA annual competition held on WCC’s campus.
- Participate in college committees and task forces.
- Participate in professional development.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
