Minimum Qualifications
Requires high school diploma or equivalent with minimum of five years work experience as administrative assistant or an Associate’s degree in office systems administration or related field with two years administrative assistant experience; excellent computer and customer service skills and valid driver’s license required;
Preferred Qualifications
experience working with unemployed/underemployed adults and/or other governmental programs serving economically disadvantaged is preferred.
Position Description
Provides recruitment and orientation for all Workforce Development (WD) programs; completes enrollment paperwork, prepares course audit packages and reports, posts grades, orders and maintains supplies and equipment, develops marketing materials, prepares travel forms, contracts, and payroll, community outreach, student referrals to outside funding agencies; provides clerical support to Dean, Workforce Development and Director, Small Business Center; and administers student assessments.
