Expected Work Hours

A minimum of a 40-hour work week as determined with the supervisor to allow the employee to fulfill the assigned duties and responsibilities, including occasional evening and weekend hours. Summer schedules may be available depending on workload.

Essential Functions

This position will support both the Business & Entrepreneurship and Building, Engineering and Skills Trade departments in all administrative functions.

Job Duties

1. Register students into appropriate courses and/or programs (both credit and non-credit); (Both)
2. Responsible for the entering appropriate data into Colleague and keeping up-to-date with any training/changes; (Both)
3. Make telephone calls to students in reference to course cancellations, date changes, and/or declined payments; (Both)
4. Monitor vendor contracts, process invoices, and maintain reconciliation of accounts; (Both)
5. Maintain professional awareness for new and current online education training trends in relation to workforce development needs; (B&E)
6. Market and advertise online classes through schedule and other means;(B&E)
7. Maintain calendar of due dates for schedules, contracts, rosters, and budget reports; (Both)
8. Maintain communication with learning management service vendors as it relates to online training; (B&E)
9. Monitor and track program budget allocations and expenditures; (Both)
10. Oversee the maintenance of course subject matter, monitor the instruction and learning environment, and the evaluation of all classes (credit and non-credit); (Both)
11. Recommend policies, procedures and regulatory controls to achieve and maintain the highest quality of instruction in all areas of program operations. (Both)
