Position Description

Summary
Welcomes, greets and directs on-site visitors and students; provides office support and other various administrative office duties as assigned. This is a part-time position.

 

Knowledge & Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Welcomes on-site visitors and students.
  • Serves as the assistant to the appropriate department faculty and staff.
  • Using appropriate software, develops, transcribes, assembles and disseminates information.
  • Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department.
  • Maintains office supplies, inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level.
  • Place Purchase Orders in E-Procurement.
  • Verifies receipt of supplies upon delivery.
  • Using appropriate software, develops, transcribes, assembles and disseminates information.
  • Edits, proofs and compiles course documents and reports as directed.
  • Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
  • Place K-Box tickets for the Departments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 
 Supervisory Responsibilities:  This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
