Position Description
Summary
The person in this position will coordinate dual-enrollment opportunities for local qualifying high school students for the Johnston Community College Career and College Program (CCP) in cooperation with Johnston County Public Schools (JCPS) and Johnston County charter schools, home schools, and private schools.
Knowledge & Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate office equipment such as photo copier, scanner and fax machine.
- Work with CCP Department Chair to organize and maintain CCP student folders. Ensure accuracy for internal and external compliance reviews.
- Edit documents and maintain multiple student databases using the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Process and scan CCP Student Eligibility documents into OnBase.
- Maintain and update daily Admissions CCP acceptance lists.
- Keep an inventory of office supplies and materials.
- Answer phone calls, take and deliver messages.
- Assist with scheduling and taking attendance at CCP information sessions, MOU meetings, and other special events.
- Contact and follow-up with students who have incomplete CCP packets, missed mandatory meetings, or have not participated in an advising and registration appointments.
- Maintain sensitivity, understanding, and respect for a diverse academic environment, inclusive of students, faculty, and staff of varying social, economic, cultural, ideological, and ethnic backgrounds.

Computer Skills
- Ability to retrieve data from student information systems.
- Proficient in Computer programs: Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Informer, and Colleague.
- Knowledge of modern office equipment including computers and printers.
- Ability to complete file transfers between systems.
