Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Requirements (Applicant must meet all of the minimum requirements)
1. Must have a minimum of an Associate’s degree;
2. Must have a minimum of two years of full-time or equivalent work experience in food service purchasing;
3. Must have experience in setting up supplier accounts;
4. Must have experience in purchasing large and small volumes;
5. Must have or be able to earn a ServSafe Certification within 6 months of hire date;
6. Must have a valid NC Driver’s license.

1. Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree;
2. Experience with E-procurement and NC State Contracts;
3. Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish, an East Slavic language, and/or American Sign Language.

Job Description Summary
To achieve food and non-food supply needs within programmatic budget while meeting program goals or quality, sanitation, and high-level educational environment.
Duties
1. Consolidates lab requisitions.
2. Maintains inventory numbers of instructional food and non-food supplies.
3. Manages receipts and invoices.
4. Purchases food and non-food items.
5. Manages receiving and storage of supplies.
6. Works with Business Office to arrange approved payments methods per vendor, including arranging credit terms, encumbering funds via blanket purchase orders, and tracking departmental spending
7. Contributes to the College Vision, Mission, Values, and RISE statement.
8. Supports workforce diversity in all its aspects.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
