Minimum Qualifications
An Associate degree in accounting or a business-related program from an accredited institution with a minimum of two years’ work experience in purchasing/business-related field or five years’ work experience in purchasing/business-related field with progressively responsible professional experience.

Position Description
The incumbent will have the following duties & responsibilities:
- Manage all requests for purchasing according to rules, regulations and policies outlined by the NC Division of Purchase and Contract, NC Interactive Purchasing System, Department of Information Technology, and Department of Administration of the State of North Carolina.
- Serve as P-Card Administrator and reconcile monthly statement.
- Prepare various reports.
- Create new vendor accounts in Colleague.
- Assist authorities during audits and inspections.
- Manage the disposal and/or relocation of equipment.
- Responsible for listing, selling and coordinating client pick-up of all publicly auctioned surplus property. Document the disposal of all surplus property of no value.
- Perform inventory prior to each exit interview.
- Perform inventory annually.
