Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma including or supplemented by experience in specialized clerical and office procedures and/or course work; or equivalent and one year of general clerical experience.
Communication skills, both oral and written, are necessary. Must have expert efficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
Preferred Qualifications
An Associate Degree and two years of customer service experience or front office duties and general clerical experience; experience with student information management software
Position Description
erform duties in a manner that represents exemplary customer service both to the general public as well as College staff and personnel.
Participate in student registration activities, both on and off-campus; provide information and assistance to students regarding the registration process, financial aid eligibility, forms, deadlines, and requirements.
Participate in the researching of complex problems and discrepancies in records, transcripts, and course schedules.
Schedule test appointments.
Assist students with technical questions and/or concerns about testing.
Proctor assessments that support the College and program admissions.
Process admissions applications, receive and process transcripts, and other student records.
Complete proctor training annually.
Key test scores.
Perform as a support staff for admissions/counseling in the absence of key staff.
Download transcripts.
Answer phones in the Spring Lake Campus Center Call and respond to student inquiries.
Prepare weekly, monthly, and term class and enrollment reports.
Inform and explain college policies and procedures to students and/or general public.
Explain College policies and procedures to College staff, students, and/or the general public as related to the office to which assigned.
Review and evaluate completeness of files and records, request information as needed.
Participate in researching complex problems and discrepancies in records.
Oversee creation of student and faculty/staff identification cards.
Respond to difficult requests for information and act as liaison to other college departments and divisions.
Perform other related duties as assigned
