Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution. Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in at least one of the following areas in a supervisory position: Education, Curriculum Development and/or Instruction, career planning, and/or records management in an educational environment.

Position Description

The incumbent will have the following duties & responsibilities:

  • Coordinate curriculum student records.
  • Provide transfer credit evaluations.
  • Facilitate the implementation of RCC’s academic policies.
  • Prepare reports for state, federal and external agencies.
  • Coordinate degree audits and certifying students for graduation.
  • Manage the Reverse Transfer program.
  • Verify enrollment and/or graduation status for educational, employment, and other inquiries.
  • Review student records for potential customizations and update records when applicable.
  • Work with program areas to determine eligibility for non-course credits based on review of prior learning assessment portfolios.
  • Assist with planning and supervision of graduation ceremonies.
  • Create and run Informer Reports as needed for college, state, and federal reporting.
  • interpret the mission, educational philosophy, and vision statements of Robeson Community College to the general public.
  • Represent the College professionally and handling all business affairs confidentially.
  • Coordinate efforts to comply with FERPA and related regulations.
  • Improve electronic access to curriculum information and student records.
  • Supervise the creation of the academic calendar.
  • Serve on college committees as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in college and community events which will require evening and weekend hours.
