Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Office Administration or a related field from a regionally accredited institution. Must have two years of relevant general office and Microsoft Office software experience.

Position Description
The Continuing Education Registrar oversees and performs a wide variety of reporting and record keeping oversight as well as Internal Auditor duties for the Continuing Education Department.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintain records associated with reports as required by NCC and the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS).
- Collaborate with department Coordinators and Directors in establishing and maintaining files and records for their respective departments.
- Complete, monitor, and submit accurate, timely student reporting of registration, membership attendance, grading and other summary reports such as FTE Comparison Report, Institutional Class Report (ICR), Data Card, and North Carolina Fire Commission (NCFC) as required by NCC and the NCCCS.
- Serve as the Internal Auditor for Continuing Education.
- Manage and maintain an internal audit procedure for records management.
- Plan and conduct audit of records for each area twice a semester in order to determine the accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness for compliance with NCC and NCCCS.
- Prepare a summary report of audit findings.
- Assist in implementation of changes in internal control procedures.
- Provide training to staff in records management procedures on an as-needed basis.
- Verify part-time instructor pay.
- Enter grades into Colleague when attendance is submitted.
- Train new staff with paperwork processes and procedures.
- Assist with the completion of the facilities utilization report for the Continuing Education Department.
- Responsible for building sections and contracts, preparing attendance sheets, rosters, grading and certificates for CDL, Nurse Aide, Prison Education, Professional Training, NCC Faculty/Staff classes, Fire and EMS. Assist with other areas as needed.
- Assist with maintaining accurate files on Continuing Education records and part-time personnel.
- Review all contracts for accuracy prior to submitting for authorized college signature.
- Maintain all Continuing Education records for five (5) years.
- Responsible for updating Combined Course Library and credentials and agencies for Continuing Education.
- Register, collect, verify and forward monies collected during registration to the business office.
