Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma; Excellent soft skills including strong interpersonal skills, a cheerful and enthusiastic personality, and a high level of flexibility, adaptability, cooperation and initiative; Attention to detail/accuracy; Excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills; Strong work ethic essential. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, experience with databases, and proficiency in keyboarding and data entry. Must have the ability to multi-task and work as part of a team. Experience in a fast-paced office environment.
Preferred Qualifications
A.A.S. degree in Business Administration or related area; Experience working in a community college setting; Bilingual in Spanish.
Position Description
Example of Duties
- Provide excellent customer service in the Registrar’s Office.
- Greet and assist customers in an efficient, friendly, and helpful manner.
- Process incoming and outgoing records documents.
- Assist students, prospective students, faculty, administrators, and campus visitors with records-related functions.
- Answer and manage incoming calls and voicemails for the Registrar’s Office.
- Problem solve errors with student records and determine the appropriate resolutions.
- Collaborate with other campus offices as necessary to assist students.
- Scan records documents using document imaging software.
- Assist the Registrar/Assistant Registrar with record keeping duties as needed.
- Ensure correctness of student records throughout the year.
- Serve on college standing committees and assist with ad-hoc assignments as needed.
- Assist with the college’s enrollment management initiatives.
- Provide assistance to the Admissions Office as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
