Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution required.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- At least three years of experience in a business or educational setting with extensive public contact required.
- Experience in higher education preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Generally works in a traditional climate-controlled office environment and requires the ability to sit for extended periods.
- Some walking, standing, and bending required, and the ability to lift and maneuver items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Work environment can be stressful at times in dealing with a wide variety of challenges and deadlines.
- In addition to regular office hours, position sometimes requires overtime and/or evening hours.

Position Description
SUMMARY
OPEN UNTIL FILLED - Review of applications will begin 8/26/21
Assist the Assistant Director of Continuing Education Registration and Records in preparing for and processing student registration and grades for all program areas of Economic and Workforce Development. Work with instructors by distributing and receiving registration material and fees. Provide information and assistance to students. Maintain flexible work schedule as required to meet the needs of instructors and students.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Assistant Director of Continuing Education Registration and Records in maintaining, updating, and filing permanent records.
- Assist students in pre-registration/payment process.
- Review daily registration report to verify online acknowledgements for express registrations.
- Adhere to all College policies and procedures, particularly those pertaining to confidentiality and access to student records, ethics, employee standards of conduct, etc.
- Provide information and data to instructors and administration as requested.
- Receive and help process class registration and fees from instructors.
- Assist a broad spectrum of students, auditors, parents, faculty, staff, and community.
- Assist in entering grades/contact hours and verifying accuracy of rosters for FTE eligibility and reporting.
- Answer telephone inquiries regarding registration, transcripts, and procedures.
- Act as backup to print and issue student transcripts as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Registration and Records and/or the Vice President for Student Affairs.
