A Bachelor’s degree is required in one of the following fields: Statistics and/or Research, Business, Information Systems, or a related field. A minimum of one year of experience in research and data analysis is required. The Specialist must be skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Ellucian, Intrinsik Informer, SAS, database development and management, graphical presentation software, and Internet research. The successful candidate must have the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences and have strong written and verbal communication skills. The Specialist must have the ability to work successfully in a team environment, prioritize work assignments, and meet deadlines.
A National Career Readiness Certificate and bilingual are preferred.
The Research Specialist conducts institutional research, analytic and administrative duties that support the mission of the College, the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, and student success efforts. The Specialist also collaborates with college faculty and staff in developing, collecting, analyzing, and reporting data using standard qualitative and quantitative procedures. This position is grant-funded and subject to the availability of funds.
