Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited educational institution required. Master's degree from a regionally accredited educational institution preferred.
Two years of experience in an educational environment with educational computer applications emphasis and proven excellent customer service skills. Experience with Ellucian products, specifically Colleague, a plus.
Knowledge of community college enrollment management activities and other student services activities, testing activities, and college policies related to student services activities.
Computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and reporting.
Excellent customer service skills.

Collaborate with Director of Student Records to assist in the research, development and implementation of initiatives and to revise and automate records processes.
Assist in the preparation of a variety of reports, including but not limited to, IPEDS, CRPFA, and other NCCCS/state/federal reports; utilize query software and other technologies to improve efficient and accurate data retrieval and analysis.
Assist with duties in the Testing Center such as registration of student testers, test administration, and score reporting.
Work in conjunction with other School of Access, Development, and Success departments to streamline student lifecycle processes as appropriate.
Provide assistance to all CVCC campuses in regards to updating, improving, and expanding student records policies and procedures; provide support and training to staff in these locations as needed.
Identify departmental issues and needs; research, analyze, and evaluate new service delivery methods and techniques; assist with planning and implementation of appropriate responses and solutions.
Maintain integrity of database by utilizing a variety of internal and external sources to check accuracy; ensure use of information remains within FERPA guidelines.
Crosstrain across all Records office functions to gain full understanding of departmental processes and to provide assistance as needed.
Oversee graduation requirements as they pertain to Student Records; evaluate student credits, verify and post graduation to records, notify students of status as process dictates.
Provide excellent customer service to student, faculty, staff, and others on a daily basis.
Maintain the security and confidentiality of student data in all interactions; adhere to FERPA regulations.
Duties may be performed on the Main CVCC Campus, East Campus, and/or at the Alexander Center.
