Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the field assigned to the position from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to those applicants with a regionally accredited master’s degree in education, business, computer science, or a related field and 3-5 years of North Carolina community college experience, including ERP and other data systems experience.
Position Description
The primary purpose of the position is to manage the workflow and maintain the accuracy and availability of courses in the Combined Course Library for all instructional areas and lead CCR curriculum Standardization Project, and college program approvals, terminations, and Instructional Service Agreement approvals and terminations within the ERP and other data systems, the Education Catalog, and develop a standard Procedures Reference Manual for all programs and other policy and procedure documentation posted on the website and provide related professional development and technical assistance to internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include establishing a workflow for entry, proofing, and maintenance of courses into the ERP and other data systems, instructional standards into the ERP and other data systems and Word, and program (traditional, ISAs, and captive) approvals and terminations into the ERP and other data systems. Create internal checks to ensure accuracy for all state board actions, CCR policies, and WDLC approvals. This position will maintain the website for the aforementioned programs. The position will review and edit documents prepared by staff for accuracy, grammar, and correct spelling. The position will provide the review and coordination of the approval of Instructional Service Agreements and educational contracts. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for college instructional planning and student services personnel to provide professional development and technical assistance.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/AND ABILITIES: The person in this position will possess relevant knowledge to carry out tasks independently, under deadlines, and with a high degree of accuracy. Demonstrated customer service to internal and external stakeholders, excellent oral and written communication, and attention to detail are required skills. Knowledge of the Combined Course Library, Education Catalog, Curriculum Procedures Reference Manual, and all Curriculum Standards is desirable. Experience with ERP (or other data systems) and website maintenance (HTML) is also required. The person should have working knowledge of methods and techniques used in gathering, editing, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting social, educational, or economic information. Working knowledge of academic standards and alignment to standard curriculum, statistical principles and techniques used in collecting, interpreting, and reporting numerical data is required for this position. The person in this position should also have demonstrated experience in adult education program management.
