The purpose of this position is to provide counseling and academic advising on complex college matriculation issues regarding student academic performance and wellness. This position also has responsibility and accountability for increasing graduation and retention rates for at-risk and underrepresented students. This position requires you to communicate directly with students via phone, text, email, virtually, or other media. Maintain a caseload of new students to the college and students experiencing academic difficulty; collaborate with other offices to manage the coordination of support offered for those students needing additional support. Provide intrusive counseling, and proactive case management services to assigned students.
