Position Description
This position provides enrollment to high school students in Iredell Statesville Schools and/or Mooresville Graded School District (June/July only)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide college outreach to high school seniors
- Meet with prospective students on campus to review enrollment steps
- Connect prospective students to college staff and resources to assist with college enrollment
- Provide follow up to students through registration of classes
- Track calls, emails, virtual and in person visits to high school seniors
- Develop relationships with Mitchell student services staff to understand the enrollment process, academic programs and continuing education opportunities
- Provide end of the project report, including contacts of students who are in the enrollment process
Surroundings/Environment:
- Standard office environment, usually indoors away from the elements, with moderate noise. - - Employee may work some hours remote.
Physical Effort:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to maintain a stationary position for an extended period; move about the office, operate and position computers and files, as needed; and frequently communicate with others. The employee may occasionally move up to 15 pounds.
Scheduling:
This is a part time position. Normal working hours determined by supervisor. Days will be determined by supervisor.
Travel:
Travel between campuses may be required.
