Minimum Qualifications

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Demonstrated high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office

· Evidence of the ability to multi-task effectively

Position Description

Job Description

The College and Career Readiness Support Specialist is a part-time position located primarily on the OCH Campus in Monroe, NC. Under the direction of the Dean of the School of College and Career Readiness (CCR), the Support Specialist serves as the first point of contact for CCR visitors and students, fielding questions related to programs and services. Additionally, the Support Specialist will provide administrative support for Adult Basic Skills directors and administrative staff.

Job Duties

· Serves as the first point of contact for CCR visitors and students

· Responds to requests for programmatic information and/or support resources

· Serves as direct support for Adult Basic Skills Directors and administrative staff

· Demonstrates a high-level of professionalism, innovation, collaboration, and institutional commitment in all actions

· Actively participates in local, state, and national professional development as appropriate

· Performs other duties as assigned by the Dean of the School of College and Career Readiness
