Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree in information technology (programming preferred), computer science, business administration or closely related field preferred; and 3 years performing the essential duties and responsibilities of a Systems Analyst and/or related training; or Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Position Description

The Systems Analyst serves as backup to Student Information Systems (SIS) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program coordinators. Reviews, analyzes, and upgrades systems and processes related to SIS ERP systems. The Systems Analyst will serve as SIS ERP subject-matter expert (power user) between Chief Information Officer, program coordinators, and other campus departments.

This position will have direct access to confidential information that should not be disclosed directly or indirectly to others for any other purpose than to perform the essential duties of this position.

· Serve as SIS ERP subject-matter expert in coordination with program coordinators.

· Work collaboratively with Coordinators – Curriculum Programs (CU) and Workforce, Technologies and Community Education (WTCE) – to gain working knowledge of both continuing education and curriculum course scheduling and program of study processes and audit requirements.

· Serve as Destiny One Technical Implementation Administrator.

· Assist with user training of Colleague, Destiny One, Banner and other SIS ERP functions.

· Assist train WTCE staff on proper use and procedures required for Destiny One transition.

· Assist with Student Information System state & local reporting.

· Assist with WTCE SIS ERP maintenance and troubleshooting.

· Ability to coordinate and prioritize office duties.

· Create and run reports from SIS ERP systems using enterprise reporting tools.

· Work with stakeholders to develop and implement new reporting tools and automate processes.

· Document appropriate procedures, instructions, and rules to share knowledge and create standards.

· Maintain and/or create process documentation for business specifications.

· Serve as liaison between Data Services team and other departments to design, document, test, and implement system changes.

· Maintain effective contact with end users from various departments to discuss and analyze ERP system performance and efficiency.

· Consult with end users to discuss desired system data output and user expectation

· Respond to diverse questions and issues from faculty and staff concerning ERP system processes and business practices.

· Analyze current system integrations to identify possible areas of improvement and/or risk.

· Work closely with various functional groups to resolve system issues in a timely manner.

· Routinely monitor data quality and ensures that data integrity issues are being addressed.

· Completes other projects and related duties as assigned.
· Maintain a clean and safe work area.
