Minimum Qualifications

A Degree/Diploma in a computer-based field is preferred and/or a minimum of four years' experience administering and supporting an enterprise information system.

Position Description

  • Fully support all aspects of Microsoft 365 suite and VMWare vSphere.
  • Manages the enterprise SAN as well as controlling all backups and retention for every system on campus and in the Cloud.
  • Manage Microsoft’s communication technologies within current industry standards including email administration, mail flow, and litigation holds.
  • Microsoft Teams administration including dynamic group memberships, channels, direct messaging, SIP communication, and litigation retention
  • Microsoft Active Directory & Google Directory administration and support
  • Assists with the creation and configuration of the campus’s network infrastructure along with management of the school's enterprise firewall
  • Manage a Zero Trust enterprise network, the configuration of network switches, and wireless access points.
  • Evaluate and maintain IoT devices on the enterprise network.
  • Design and support Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services tenants.
  • Helps manage, customize, and secure the campus’ ERP/SIS/LMS solutions
  • Helps determine technological advancements based on analyzing the technology      needs in all areas on campus
  • Plans, implements, and supports the network and computing infrastructure plan
  • Plan and coordinate the installation of new releases and system software. Install and test new system software releases and place them in production mode after successful testing
  • Troubleshoot network problems to successful resolution. Monitor systems for performance and security
  • Review vendor software bulletins to avoid potential problems and install updates and modifications as required
  • Confer with program product vendors regarding new product releases and for problem resolutions
  • Researches and evaluates equipment and software capability; researches and resolves problems; makes technical recommendations
  • Provide technical and advisory support to college personnel
  • Interact effectively with faculty, staff, students, and the community in a cooperative, courteous, and professional manner
  • Represent the College in local, regional, state-wide, and national technology organizations
  • Provide technical writing and documentation
