     Exposure to Talent Acquisitions, recruiting and staffing
     Experience working with applicant tracking system and HRIS systems
     aPHR, SHRM or other HR Certification
     Bi-lingual

Position Description

Central Piedmont is in search of two Talent Acquisition Coordinators for the Central Campus. The Talent Acquisition team deals with the strategic plan and processes for identifying, recruiting and retaining the human resources for the College. It includes developing, implementing and evaluating programs for sourcing, recruiting, hiring along with the onboarding & orientation of new talent. 

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will act as a liaison to the Talent Acquisition Team and will provide a wide variety of administrative support and assistance to internal and external customers. The TA Coordinator will ensure timely and efficient processing of all necessary information and paperwork related to the new hire and other TA processes as required. 

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities

1. Performs a variety of daily administrative functions/duties which includes answering phones and questions that relate to the hiring process, greeting/referring/assisting prospective candidates, customers, staff, or others, preparing documents and reports, compiling records, scheduling meetings, organizing and maintaining information, and providing general office support.

2. Supports Recruiters with obtaining applicant information from the applicant-tracking system for internal/external users in addition to ATS (NeoGov) maintenance. Assists Staffing Consultants (Recruiters) with the staffing/recruiting process and other related tasks.

3. Aids Staffing Consultants (Recruiters) with posting full-time and part-time job requisitions as needed.

4. Enters data into the Onboarding ATS and HRIS. Verifies applicants meet minimum hiring requirements.

5. Assists Staffing Consultant (Recruiters) with the part-time new hire onboarding process by verifying federally regulated documentation and processing of Employment Eligibility Verification - Form I-9.

6. Collaborates with ITS network access.

7. Provides customer support to applicants regarding the applicant tracking system (i.e. employment application, upload documents and password resets etc.).

8. Conducts background checks for successful candidates.

9. Processes overload (OL) requests when employees request to work an additional position. Creates and maintains employee records as it relates to status changes, transfers etc. in HRIS and ATS.

10. Performs daily administrative functions which includes; scanning, filing, data entry, reporting etc.

11. Assists with special projects and other duties as assigned.

* Proficient with data information systems such as, ATS, HRIS, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data entry experience
* Knowledge of standard office procedures and equipment; scanning, faxing, copying and collection of documents
* Excellent time management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary for this position is $41,600 - $51,288. Pay grade for this position is J. Initial placement for new employees is customarily at entry level through 25% percentile. Contract type is Classified. Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include off-shift hours, evening and weekend assignments may be required of any position. All positions are subject to budget approval.
