Employee will hold at least a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Systems Technology or a related field. A Master's Degree is preferred.

Under the supervision of the Director of Resource Development, the Tech Hire Coordinator will provide supervision and oversight to the entire Halifax Community College Tech Hire program. The employee will also supervise the Tech Hire Program Assistant and the Tech Hire Program Recruiter. The employee will coordinate services with the business community. The Coordinator will provide program planning, evaluation, and follow-up. The employee will be responsible for continuous program improvement. Employee will coordinate program with James Sprunt Community College, Program Evaluators, and the US Department of Labor. The employee will be responsible for all program reports.
